The brief

New Premises for recruitment firm Michael Page within the Canary Wharf tower - Level 28.

How we met the challenge

With a delayed property transaction and an impending Lease termination at the city office, Michael Page needed a short fit-out program for new offices. Canary Wharf tower has some challenging restrictions on office fit-out, including limited, time-controlled, delivery slots and restrictions on noisy works. Added to this, all materials needed hoisting to the 28th floor - definitely a building to avoid anything that won't fit in the goods lift!

Using a tried and trusted office interior design format, the works were completed within a short time frame allowing occupation for the client on the agreed deadline.

The office design is a mix of very durable office furniture finishes, floor and wall finishes, with high quality office partitioning and office furniture finishes used in the front-of-house reception and meeting/interview rooms.

The office refurbishment had one unusual benefit. Views from Level 28 of Canary Tower are spectacular, and the office fit-out work did have the occassional break when the weather provided a particularly eye-catching view across London.
