The new Sky Innovation Centre re-imagines the office for a ‘hybrid’ way of working; with flexible furniture that can adapt layouts to suit without changing the form of the building itself.
An activity based workplace, designed to enhance collaborative working, an open plan strategy has been used, maximising the use of available natural light.
Sky’s commitment to minimising the use of single use plastics was clear from day one of instruction, with supply chain reviewing their packaging strategies.
An eight-phase delivery strategy was used which included over 300 Knoll workstations combined with a series of beautiful loose furniture solutions for collaborative settings. Three floors of activity based work settings have been installed; one of which is a dedicated executive suite, along with an innovation floor on the Mezzanine. Integration of AV with both furniture and joinery was critical to delivering a great user-experience.
