Our approach to sustainability

Sustainability is integral to all our projects. Every element of our design is assessed against sustainable criteria: not only materials, but also considerations such as maximising natural light and minimising energy consumption. 

We practice high sustainability standards in our own office. In 2009 we reduced our carbon footprint by 20%, in 2010 by a further 5% and between July 2010 – June 2011 IOR achieved a further 10% in Co2 reduction (51% reduction when compared to turnover). IOR then offsets its remaining carbon credits by investing in projects across the globe.
