IOR helped deliver Sovereign Housing Association’s new HQ in Basingstoke, the first in their workplace programme, which will provide employees with great places to work. Sovereign House (originally The Florence Building) was awarded on a framework basis.
Flexibility and strong teamwork between Sovereign Housing and IOR ensured this project was delivered successfully during a Covid lockdown period.

Sovereign showed great foresight in respect of acoustic and audio-visual specification, with audio panels and video conferencing facilities in all meeting rooms and soundproof pods incorporated across working floors – supporting small or online meetings and private calls.
A variety of furniture, such as standing project tables and soft, freestanding furniture, are placed between open plan desk areas to encourage and support agile working, collaboration and efficiency.
All workplace settings, tea points and social spaces are designed to be accessible and comfortable for all employees.
